Profile

Ms. Pietrowsky’s career began in 1995 as high school teacher. She joined MetLife in 1996 as a group insurance administrator focusing on life and health benefits administration. In 1999, she assumed responsibilities as a benefits administrator focusing on Medicare third-party administration. In addition to investigating and evaluating inquiries, Ms. Pietrowsky developed and conducted training classes for both clients and MetLife personnel.

In 2000, Ms. Pietrowsky was promoted to an analyst in MetLife’s Learning and Development unit. In this capacity she has designed and developed training interventions as well as delivered training on various subjects. She has also participated in formal assessments and evaluations of training success with a focus on identifying opportunities and remedying training gaps.

In 2004, Ms. Pietrowsky was promoted to training consultant and is now a member of the MetLife Leadership and Management Development team. Ms. Pietrowsky is also the Program Manager of the Frontline Managers Essentials workshop, which is a workshop for nominated MetLife people managers.

Ms. Pietrowsky maintains an active interest in researching training trends. She is regularly investigates new tools and techniques and, when appropriate, recommends them to MetLife management for possible inclusion in the corporate intervention portfolio. Since joining Learning and Development, Ms. Pietrowsky has actively participated in redesign and restructuring initiatives in various sectors of MetLife.

Ms. Petrowsky holds a Masters degree in Training and Development and a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education. She has received numerous awards from MetLife including the “Snoopy” Award for Excellence and Teamwork.
